Rosewood lost to North Lenoir Thursday in straight sets, 25-15, 25-12 and 25-18.
This brings North Lenoir's overall record to 12-8. They play next against Ayden-Grifton on Oct. 10.

The Lady Blues beat out the Saints in three straight sets in Thursday night action, 25-15, 25-17 and 25-13.
This is the third time this week the Lady Bliues have bested a team in straight sets.
Thursday night's win was bolstered by a strong 22 kills from Senior Arlanda Faulkner and 32 assists from senior Hannah Carter.
For the Saints, Junior Kya Hunter had nine digs and three kills. Junior Alexus Elliott had five kills, one dig and five blocks.
Morgan Kennedy, Rebecca Coor and Olivia Carr also logged several digs on the evening for the Lady Saints.
Princeton 3,
North Duplin 0
North Duplin fell to Princeton Thursday in three sets, 14-25, 21-25 and 19-25.
Anna Thornton had three aces for the Lady Rebels, while Taylor Walker had four kills, Alyssa Santos had three kills and Callie Thornton had three kills.
Thornton also logged 10 assists on the night.
This brings North Duplin's overall record to 9-7, and their conference record to 4-6.
Wayne Christian 3,
Cape Fear 2
Wayne Christian ladies volleyball bested Cape Fear Thursday in five sets, 25-17, 24-26, 25-23, 12-25 and 16-14.
Wayne Christian coach Rick Moore described the match up as a thrilling back and forth contest.
Hope Shook recorded 19 kills, four aces and 26 digs. Sarah Sawyer had nine kills, 11 digs and one block.
Ashlee Harrelson added nine kills, two aces and 10 digs on the night.
Libero Holly Gurley had 23 digs and recorded a 100 percent service rate.
Kasey Norris also had an outstanding night with seven digs, five aces and 49 assists.
