Rosewood punched in a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns to cap a come-from-behind, 28-25 victory over North Johnston at Branch Pope Field on Friday evening.
Michael Reid's 1-yard TD burst pushed the Eagles in front, 21-18, early in the fourth quarter. Jaikel Coley turned a 27-yard option play into the eventual game-winning TD.
Coley and Reid combined for 75 rushing yards.
Tucker Chapin, the reigning News-Argus Athlete-of-the-Week, rushed for 102 yards and threw for another 29 yards -- including a 7-yard scoring strike to Coley in the first quarter.
Dhimanti Fenty toted the mail 13 times for 91 yards.
"(I'm) so excited for our team to have beaten a quality team like North Johnston," RHS head coach Robert Britt said. "I felt our guys played extremely hard all night. We've got to get better at not making mistakes that kill drives.
"Our second quarter was messy, but we did a good job of re-grouping at halftime and played very well in the second half."
Rosewood (1-1 overall) entertains Spring Creek on Friday.
