PREP VOLLEYBALL: Saints pull out 5-set thriller

Junior Caroline Summerlin cranked out six kills as Southern Wayne turned back North Lenoir 25-17, 16-25, 25-17, 14-25, 15-6 in non-conference play Thursday evening.
Junior Kya Hunter contributed four aces, eight kills and seven digs. Junior Alexus Elliott registered three aces, three kills and a career-high 12 blocks.
Rebecca Coor handed out 22 assists.
"I am so proud of how our girls fought to the very end," SW head coach Jamie Williams said. "They truly showed their heart."
