CALYPSO -- Will Archer and Colby Bass combined for five rushing touchdowns, and North Duplin steamrolled West Columbus, 46-12, at H.E. Grubbs Field on Friday evening.
It was the season opener for both teams.

Bass posted two touchdowns -- a 4-yard ramble in the second quarter and a 50-yard gallop in the fourth. He emerged as the game's top ball carrier with 117 yards on just eight attempts.
Saul Mendoza provided a 3-run TD.
