SOFTBALL: Saints crush Warriors

Southern Wayne cruised past Eastern Wayne 15-2 in a county rival battle on Tuesday.
Saints' hurler Dawn Anderson struck out 10 batters and allowed just three hits. Rebecca Coor hit her second homer of the season, with a moonshot to left field. Anderson went 4-for-4 with three singles and a double. Iyahna Bess was 2-for-3 with a sacrifice bunt and two RBI. Anastashia McNair went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Southern Wayne (8-11, 6-6 ECC) now awaits its playoff fate.
