GOLF: Ashworth, Scott each post an ace at GMGC

Jonathan Ashworth and Ralph Scott each recently recorded hole-in-one during play on the Goldsboro Municipal Golf Club links.
Ashworth used a pitching wedge to hole out on the No. 16 layout -- his second ace of his career. Playing partners Bill Aycock, Bert Perkins and Tommy Tyndall witnessed the feat.
Scott used a 7-iron to log a hole-in-one on the No. 7 layout. He played alongside 'Bo' Hughes, Bud Combs and Sid Dupuis.
