SOFTBALL: Shingleton has 3-hit day for Golden Falcons

KENLY -- Allison Shingleton cranked out three hits and drove in a run during Charles B. Aycock's 2-0, non-conference conquest of North Johnston on Tuesday evening.
Connor Vinson added two hits and scored a run for the Golden Falcons, who rose to 15-2 overall this season.
Mookie Powell, Cassandra Lassiter, Taylor Puetz and Georgia Parnell supplied one hit apiece.
Taylor Waddell emerged as the winning pitcher inside the circle. The right-hander issued four walks and retired nine NoJo batters on strikeouts during a complete-game performance.
CBA returns to action April 25 at South Central.
