PREP BASEBALL: Princeton doubles up Neuse Charter

SMITHFIELD -- Adam Crocker delivered a pair of base knocks during Princeton's 4-2 conquest of Carolina 1-A Conference foe Neuse Charter on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bulldogs plated single runs in each of the first and fourth innings, and scored twice in the fifth. Crocker, Tanner Flowers and Caleb French logged one RBI apiece.
Nathan Ramby stole three bases.
Flowers started on the mound for the Bulldogs, allowed two hits and posted five strikeouts in three innings. Colby Sullivan threw two innings of three-strikeout relief.
Will Gurganious and French combined for two innings of two-hit relief.
Princeton returns action at home Friday in the annual Deacon Jones Invitational. The Bulldogs face Cape Hatteras at 7 p.m.
