PREP SOFTBALL: Rebels' Brogden tosses perfect game

TEACHEY -- Haley Brogden found perfection Tuesday evening.
The senior right-hander didn't allow a runner to reach base and recorded a career-high 20 strikeouts during a 12-0 victory over Wallace-Rose Hill in the Duplin County Easter Invitational.
Brogden helped her cause offensively with two doubles and three RBI for the Rebels, who face East Duplin in the championship game today.
Alyssa Santos slapped a home run in a 3-for-5, four-RBI outing. Natalie Ramirez batted 4-for-4, while Maddie Swinson ended the day 2-for-4.
Rayanna Koch and Courtney Brock each provided one hit.
North Duplin is 9-1 overall.
