BASEBALL: New Bern drops Southern Wayne

NEW BERN -- Lance Wise delivered a three-hit performance during Southern Wayne's 7-0 loss to Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A rival New Bern on Friday evening.
Josh Grady added two hits for the Saints, who dipped to 8-6 overall and 4-3 against ECC opposition. Derek Holsinger and Kolby Anderson each had one hit.
Jack Casbarro started on the bump and yielded five runs (three earned) in 32/3 innings. Anderson threw 11/3 innigns, while Aryc Chrisman made a one-inning appearance on the hill.
