GIRLS' TRACK: Gregory, Faulkner pace Golden Falcons

NEW BERN -- Sarah Gregory and Arlanda Faulkner combined to win three individual events and Charles B. Aycock placed third overall during a four-team Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference meet ran at New Bern on Wednesday afternoon.
Faulkner recorded the meets best marks in the triple and long jump. Teammate and regional qualifier Cyerra Carter finished behind Faulkner in each event.
Gregory won the 800-meter run in 2 minutes, 50 seconds, and placed third in the 1,600 with a time of 6:27.
The Golden Falcons' 4x2 relay of Bre'onna Bryant, Nayanna Hill, Carter and Faulkner took second. Bryant ended up second in the 100 dash (12.84seconds) and third in the 200.
