BOYS' TENNIS: Rosewood defeats rival Princeton

League-leading Rosewood swept the doubles courts and secured a 7-2 victory over Carolina 1-A Conference rival Princeton on Wednesday afternoon.
Collin Pendergraph, Marc Lewis, Jacob Smith and Dalton Ira each seized a singles point for the Eagles. Chase Bartlett-Pendergraph, Lewis-Smith and Kyle Matthews-Seth Wiggins each prevailed in doubles.
Jacob Williams and Blaine Phillips each picked up a singles point for Princeton. Williams prevailed 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 1 singles slot. Phillips rallied for a 7-5, 5-7, 1-0 (10-5) victory at the No. 5 singles flight.
