PRINCETON -- Kya Hunter drove in Southern Wayne's lone run during a 6-1, non-conference loss to reigning state 1-A champion Princeton on Tuesday afternoon.
Kelly Dail started Southern Wayne's fifth inning with a lead-off single and advanced to second on Rebecca Coor's base knock. After a double steal, Hunter supplied an RBI groundout to shortstop.
Dail, Coor, Mackenzie Bryan and Iyahna Bess each had a hit for the Saints, who dropped to 1-3 overall this season. Bryan took the mound loss.
