SOFTBALL: CBA's Shingleton hurls 5-hitter

DEEP RUN -- Allison Shingleton threw a complete-game five-hitter and Charles B. Aycock hammered out a 15-4, non-conference victory over South Lenoir on Tuesday evening.
Shingleton (1-0) added two hits at the plate.
Cara Lenzi belted a home run during a 4-for-4, five-RBI performance. Mookie Powell contributed three hits. Hannah Vinson (4 RBI) and Taylor Waddell (RBI) logged two hits apiece.
