BOYS' GOLF: Jones shoots season-low

Bryce Jones shot a season-low 2-under par 70 and Charles B. Aycock posted a four-player total of 298 during a multi-team, non-conference match contested at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course.
Jake Flowers shot a 74, followed by Carl Floars with a 75. Ty Daniels posted a 79 to complete the Golden Falcons' scoring. Austin Greene (80) and Evan Aycock (95) also played.
Eastern Wayne fired a 349, led by Drew Grady's 18-hole round of 84. Noah Forrester and Justin Whaley each carded an 85. Justin Edwards logged a 95.
Ryan Kimble turned in a 77 for Goldsboro, which ended the day third with a 364. Joseph Foye (93), Reid Barnett (96) and Cameron Anderson (98) contributed to the Cougars' four-player score.
Cameron Klages emerged as Rosewood's top player with a 77. Noah Grantham and Dawson Overby also played.
Logan Mason led Southern Wayne with a 99 and ended the day with a 413 team total. Tanner Worth, Thomas Wingate, Lukus Gregory and Shane Tillman also participated.
