SOFTBALL: Nash Central handles Goldsboro

Despite a 3-for-3 performance from Amber Pfenning, Goldsboro dropped a 10-6 non-conference decision to Nash Central Thursday afternon.
Pfenning's day included an RBI and double. Nikki Olmsted and Marcy Taylor (RBI) both finished 2-for-4. Riley Howell, Matti Rose Lyon and Abby Allen each had one hit.
Taylor pitched a complete game, struck out three batters and walked three batters. Goldsboro (1-1) hosts East Wake Academy today.
