BASEBALL: Hoggard slips by Southern Wayne

WILMINGTON -- Noah Horton pounded out two hits during Southern Wayne's 2-1, non-conference loss to Hoggard on Wednesday afternoon.
Jack Casbarro, Matt Stott, Kolby Anderson and Lance Wise provided one hit apiece for the Saints. Casbarro drove in SW's lone run.
Aryc Chrisman started on the bump and surrendered two runs on three hits in a four-inning stint. Casbarro tossed two innings of no-hit scoreless relief.
The Saints (1-1 overall) visit Spring Creek on Friday.
