SOFTBALL: Laine Marak's grand slam lifts Rosewood

La GRANGE -- Laine Marak belted a seventh-inning grand slam to cap Rosewood's come-from-behind, 13-11 non-conference victory over North Lenoir on Tuesday evening.
Marak ended the night with four hits.
Kaitlyn Kincaid emerged as the winning pitcher in relief of starter Macy Tyndall. She yielded four runs on six hits and retired seven NL batters on strikeouts in a five-inning stint.
Kincaid, Tyndall, Hailey Weeks, Toree Marak, Keelin Hunter and Riley Jo Meyers each contributed to the Eagles' 17-hit explosion. Braylee Butts stole two bases.
Barton College signee Alison Montague paced the Hawks' offense with four hits.
