BOYS' TENNIS: EW starts season with 9-0 win

Eastern Wayne launched its 2017 campaign with a season-opening, 9-0 conquest of Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference foe South Central on Tuesday afternoon.
Dylan March, Walker Davis, Yoseph Yan, Ian Burchett, Anass Sarah and Daniel Stevens each rolled in singles action. March-Burchett, Davis-Yan and Sarah-Stevens completed the shutout in doubles.
Eastern Wayne (1-0 overall, 1-0 ECC) visits New Bern on Thursday.
