GIRLS' BASKETBALL: South Central stops C.B. Aycock

WINTERVILLE -- South Central pulled away in the second half and handed Charles B. Aycock a 43-37 loss in Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference play Tuesday evening.
Cassandra Lassiter led the Golden Falcons' offense with 11 points, including nine from behind the 3-point arc. Lexi Edmundson contributed seven points, followed by Mookie Powell with six points.
