GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Rosewood throttles Hobbton

Rosewood continued its chase for its fourth straight Carolina 1-A Conference regular-season title with a 40-29 victory over Hobbton on Friday evening.
Braylee Butts pumped in 16 points and picked the Wildcats for four steals. Backcourt mate Payton Lane contributed 15 points and four steals.
Nekia Williams contributed five points, 11 rebounds and blocked a shot.
The Eagles (7-9 overall, 6-2 CC) visit Jones Senior on Monday.
