GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Goldsboro ends 3-game skid in league play

LITTLEFIELD -- Destiny Lucas turned in a 24-point performance and led Goldsboro to a 51-37 victory over Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference rival Ayden-Grifton on Friday evening.
T'ziah Kelly contributed 14 points.
The Cougars (5-7 overall, 1-3 ECC) snapped a three-game skid in conference play and return home Tuesday to face Greene Central.
