COLLEGE BASEBALL: UMO to play Down East Wood Ducks in exhibition game

MOUNT OLIVE -- University of Mount Olive will play an exhibition game against the Down East Wood Ducks on April 3 at historic Grainger Stadium.
First pitch is 7 p.m.
The Wood Ducks are a Single-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers.
UMO is coming off its seventh consecutive appearance in the NCAA Division II tournament. The Trojans launch their 2017 campaign Feb. 4 with a two-day, three-game home series against Peach Belt member Lander (S.C.) University.
