BOYS' BASKETBALL: Princeton gets first league win of season

SMITHFIELD -- Austin Sullivan recorded a double-double -- 13 points, 10 rebounds -- as Princeton upended Neuse Charter, 69-57, in a Carolina 1-A Conference game Wednesday evening.
Colby Sullivan emerged as the Bulldogs' top scorer with 19 points. Garrett Klein scored 13 points. Rahjai McPhatter and Earl Gibson Jr. provided nine and seven points, respectively.
"We played much better tonight," said PHS head coach Jeff Davis, whose team scored 29 points in the second quarter.
The Bulldogs (6-7 overall, 1-3 CC) are the guests of North Duplin today.
