DUDLEY -- Northern Nash secured a 26-point advantage after the opening quarter and cruised past Southern Wayne, 73-62, in non-conference play Thursday evening.

Southern Wayne (1-7 overall) returns to action at home Tuesday against New Bern in the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference opener for both teams.
