Girls' basketball: Greenville Christian 18, Wayne Christian 16-- Wayne led at the half 9-6 but only scored one field goal in the third quarter. Brianna Verme had 12 points, Kaylee Martin and Sydnei's Rosso each had two.
WCS (1-1) overall plays Neuse Charter on the road next Tuesday.
Boys' basketball: Wayne Christian 39, Greenville Christian 29 -- The Eagles move to 3-0 on the season.
