Middle schools
* Volleyball: Rosewood d. Wayne School of Engineering 25-14, 25-22, 21-25, 25-15 -- Alyssa Smothers served eight aces and Allecia Langston contributed six kills during the Eagles' four-set win. Rosewood (11-1 overall) visits Grantham on Thursday. WSE exited 7-6 overall.
* Volleyball: Norwayne d. Eastern Wayne 25-6, 25-14 and 25-8, 25-18 -- Abby Thomas served seven aces and cranked out five kills during the Cobras' doubleheader sweep of the Warriors. Karlyn Ray logged a match-high 12 aces. Norwayne (12-0 overall) is the guest of Spring Creek on Thursday.
* Volleyball: WSE d. Mount Olive 25-17, 25-10 and 25-10, 25-10 -- Riley Gibson served 10 aces as the Titans won the doubleheader. Ammie Foery chipped in with six aces. WSE improved to 4-3 in division play.
