SOCCER: Goldsboro throttles Ayden-Grifton

Chandler Patrick punched in two goals as Goldsboro hammered Ayden-Grifton, 8-2, in an Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference match.
Aaron Podbielski, Ruben Quiroz, Isaiah Griggs, Holden Jones, Thomas West and Michael Eovine provided one goal apiece. Eovine and Aaron Seate each logged two assists.
Quiroz, Daniel Purisfull and Chris Pate each had one assist.
Eovine and Patrick combined for 14 saves in goal.
