SOCCER: CBA's McIver connects on pair of PKs in road win

WINTERVILLE -- David McIver converted two penalty kicks as Charles B. Aycock blanked South Central, 2-0, on the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference scene Tuesday evening.
Nick Meza posted one assist.
CBA goalie Skyler Landers recorded five saves.
"The defense played outstanding once again to get the shutout win," first-year Golden Falcons head coach Cory Worrell said.
Aycock (7-6 overall, 4-2 ECC) visits J.H. Rose today and entertains New Bern on Thursday.
