* Volleyball: C.B. Aycock d. Eastern Wayne 25-23, 25-15 -- McKenzie Norris led the Golden Falcons' offense with five kills. Lydia Butler contributed three kills. Abigail Lancaster knocked down two kills, served two aces and emerged as the defensive leader with 14 digs. Colleen Jones logged two aces. Victoria Isler picked up 12 digs.

* Girls' tennis: Wayne Country Day 5, Greenfield 4 -- Wayne Country Day claimed victories at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles to defeat the Knights. The No. 1 tandem of Hanna McKeithan-Cady Stanley won 8-2, while the No. 2 duo of Diya Shreenath-Leslie Lippold pulled off an 8-3 win. McKeithan, Stanley and Shreenath each won their respective singles match. The Chargers forfeited three matches due to having just four players.

* Volleyball: North Duplin d. James Kenan 25-17, 17-25, 18-16 -- Taylor Walker delivered nine kills and Breanna Hinnant dished out nine assists. Jamilyn Wallace, Samantha Frohlech, Taylor Walker and Michaela Jones combined to serve 10 aces.

* Volleyball: Wayne Country Day d. Pope John Paul II 25-22, 26-24 -- Cate Eagles recorded a double-double -- 11 aces, 10 assists -- in the Chargers' season-ending victory. Lexi Jeffreys recorded six kills.
