COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL: Aycock grad Martin receives honor

HIGH POINT -- Lees-McRae College libero Madison Martin has been named Conference Carolinas women's volleyball player-of-the-week for matches contested from Oct. 3-9.
A graduate of Charles B. Aycock, the junior made her presence felt in the Bobcats' lone match of the week. Martin posted 30 digs, average of 7.5 digs per set as L-MC defeated King (Tenn.) College 3-1.
Martin ranks seventh in Conference Carolinas in total digs (236), and ninth in digs per set (3.93).
