VOLLEYBALL: Hobbton upends North Duplin

NEWTON GROVE -- Anna Thornton and Casey King dished out nine assists apiece as North Duplin fell to Hobbton 18-25, 19-25, 16-25 in a Carolina 1-A Conference match Tuesday evening.
Maddie Swinson, Taylor Walker and Kenzie Taylor each had three kills for the Rebels. Walker posted five blocks. Abbey Pate emerged as the defensive leader with six digs. Thornton and Cassy King each had three digs.
