VOLLEYBALL: Bulldogs top Gators in 3 sets

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Daisey Eklund turned in an 18-kill, five-block performance as Carolina 1-A Conference leader Princeton dealt Spring Creek a 25-18, 26-24, 25-17 loss Tuesday evening.
Eklund also produced three digs on defense.
Kortney Edwards logged 13 kills and served seven aces. Emily Ricks had three kills. Setter Beth Braswell passed out 29 assists and registered two aces.
SC setter Ivet Carreno dished out 12 assists and Shae Odom emerged as the defensive leader with 10 digs. Fernanda Martinez posted five kills and one block. McKinley Edmondson recorded two aces, three digs and five kills.
Emily Dupuy supplied two kills and three blocks.
Princeton heads to North Duplin on Thursday.
