VOLLEYBALL: WCDS emerges victorious on Senior Day

Wayne Country Day's lone senior, Olivia Dively, recorded five kills, two aces and nine digs during a 25-18, 25-14, 25-23 triumph over nemesis Greenfield on Thursday evening.
DeKiya Thomas handed out 25 assists and served three aces. Jala Holloman cranked out a team-high 12 kills. Hannah Neal collected eight kills.
Kyara Drew posted nine aces and five kills.
Wayne Country Day (8-10 overall) finished 7-3 in Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference regular-season play. The CPIC tournament begins Oct. 11.
