GIRLS' TENNIS: Spring Creek shuts out James Kenan

Spring Creek swept the singles and doubles courts during its 9-0 conquest of Carolina 1-A Conference foe James Kenan on Wednesday.
Ivey Rouse, Amanda Haggerty, Kristin Alphin, Chloe Davis, Vanessa Southerland and Azaneth Rodriguez each emerged victorious in singles action. Southerland did not lose a game at the No. 5 singles flight.
Haggerty lost just one game at the No. 2 flight.
Rouse-Haggerty, Alphin-Davis and Southerland-Rodriguez each claimed a doubles point.
