VOLLEYBALL: Princeton sweeps Carolina rival Rosewood

PRINCETON -- Princeton remained unbeaten in Carolina 1-A Conference play with a 25-7, 25-17, 25-11 conquest of rival Rosewood on Tuesday afternoon.
Emily Ricks provided five kills, while Daisey Eklund contributed four kills and eight aces. Erika Hines registered three kills. Leah Narron, Kortney Edwards and Maryssa Proctor combined for six kills.
Beth Braswell doled out 18 assists.
Braylee Butts led the Eagles with three kills. Kendall Gurley, Ada Rivera and Toree Marak posted two kills apiece. Marak posted two solo blocks.
Macy Tyndall, who saw her first action since suffering a concussion last January, recorded 10 digs defensively. Carrie Beckert had eight digs, followed by Butts with six and Rivera with four.
Rivera had four assists.
Princeton plays host to Hobbton on Thursday, while Rosewood travels to James Kenan.
