SOCCER: EW wins first conference match

Eastern Wayne snapped a three-game losing streak with a 1-0 victory over J.H. Rose on Monday.
The Warriors' Josh Gross scored the lone goal within the first 90 seconds of the game.
EW goalie Daniel Stevens tallied the shutout.
The Warriors (4-7-2, 1-1-1 ECC) face D.H. Conley today at home.
