Damien Brown hauled in three touchdown passes and returned a 70-yard kickoff to the house during the Cougars' non-conference win Thursday evening. Brown's TD catches from Brody Morton covered 7, 54 and 38 yards. Morton ended the night an efficient 7 of 9 for 144 yards. JB Rhodes galloped 71 yards for a TD, punched in a pair of two-point conversions and amassed a team-high 151 yards on the ground. Cameron Roux added 75 yards on 10 totes. The defensive leaders were Tyjuan Barnes (9 tackles), DaVeje Shannon (7 tackles, 1 assist) and Jacaria Wilson (6 tackles). Dayeje Shannon and Micah Mooring each recovered a fumble. Malik McClain and Dameon Brown each picked off an FC pass attempt.
