BOYS' SOCCER: Hampton scores lone goal, CBA tops S. Central

PIKEVILLE -- Joey Hampton collected the game's lone goal and his Charles B. Aycock teammates preserved the advantage in a 1-0 triumph over Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference foe South Central on Thursday evening.
Coe Jordan assisted on Hampton's goal.
The Golden Falcons (5-5-0 overall, 2-1-0 ECC) earned their fourth shutout of the season and have played seven games decided by one goal.
CBA improved to 7-0 all-time against SC.
