*Volleyball: Rosewood d. Brogden 25-6, 25-7, 25-13 -- Alyssa Smothers served eight aces in the Eagles' season-opening win Monday afternoon.
*Volleyball: Grantham d. Dillard - 25-8, 25-6, 19-25, 25-9 -- Abbey Parker delivered a match-high 17 aces and Morgan Kennedy supplied 11 aces during the Bulldogs' four-set win Monday afternoon. Alyssa Meadows had seven aces. Haley Toler provided four kills. Parker and Meadows cranked out two kills apiece. It was the season-opening game for both teams.
*Volleyball: Spring Creek d. Wayne School of Engineering 25-15, 24-26, 22-25, 26-24, 15-9 -- SC was down 16-6 in the fourth set, but Anna West served 18 points to get back in contention. The Gators next game is against Grantham on Thursday.
*Volleyball: Norwayne d. Greenwood 25-4, 25-11, 25-14 -- Norwayne will host Mt. Olive on Thursday.
