VOLLEYBALL: WCDS sweeps Christ Covenant

Olivia Dively cranked out a match-high nine kills and posted two blocks during Wayne Country Day's 25-21, 25-14, 25-8 triumph over first-year Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference member Christ Covenant on Friday afternoon.
Dively also served two aces and logged four digs on defense for the Chargers, who extended their win streak to three matches.
Lillian Freeman contributed seven kills and two blocks. Hannah Neal supplied six kills, three aces and six digs. Grayson Jeffreys collected five kills, one block, two aces and two digs.
Kyara Drew chipped in four kills, one block, one dig.
Jala Holloman knocked down three kills.
DeKiya Thomas passed out 22 assists and served four aces.
Wayne Country Day (4-7 overall, 3-1 CPIC) entertains league-leading Wayne Christian on Monday.
