VOLLEYBALL: New Bern defeats Eastern Wayne in ECC 3A-4A play

New Bern handed Eastern Wayne a 25-17, 25-13, 25-16 setback in Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference play Tuesday afternoon.
Alyssa Jackson led the Warriors with four kills and two solo blocks. Brianna Autman had three kills. K. Peedin-Rouse and Jennifer Sparks posted 10 digs apiece on defense against the Bears.
Emily Newsome and Naomi Williams combined for 12 assists.
The Warriors fell to 6-2 overall and 0-2 against ECC opposition this season.
