VOLLEYBALL: Gators stop Saints in 3 sets

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Ivet Carreno delivered 14 assists and served a pair of aces as Spring Creek handed county rival Southern Wayne a 25-8, 25-11, 25-12 loss at "The Swamp" on Thursday evenng.
Fernanda Martinez provided six aces and six kills. Kayla Herring had six aces, two digs and one kill. McKinley Edmondson collected a team-high eight kills and one dig.
Spring Creek improved to 2-3 overall this season.
