Golden Falcons' Carter claims pair of individual wins

WILSON -- Cyerra Carter emerged victorious in two individual events and helped lead Charles B. Aycock to a first-place team finish during a meet contested at Fike High School on Monday afternoon.
Carter took first in the triple jump and 200 dash.
Lexus Pridgen and Mackenzie Stewart placed first in the shot put and 1,600 run, respectively. Stewart seized second in the 800 run.
Aycock won the 4x8 relay.
Second-place finishers were Kassandra Sandoval (100 hurdles), Sarah Gregory (1,600) and Taylor Daniels (400). Third-place times and distances were recorded by Arlanda Faulkner (long jump), Breonna Bryant (100 dash), Tara Price (1,600), Sandoval (300 hurdles) and Bryant (200).
The Golden Falcons took third in the 4x2 relay.
