PIKEVILLE -- Results of the 2016 Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference boys' singles and doubles tennis tournament contested Tuesday afternoon on the Luke Vail Tennis Courts:

Singles

Quarterfinals: Jonas Creel (C.B. Aycock) d. Christian Chase (Southern Wayne) 8-6; Ian Burchett (Eastern Wayne) d. Tyler Isley (SW) 8-2.

Semifinals: Dylan March (EW) d. Creel (CBA) 6-1, 6-1; Burchett (EW) d. Nolan Casey (CBA) 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Championship: March (EW) d. Burchett (EW) 6-0, 6-0.

Doubles

Quarterfinals: Sam Andrews-Austin Doyle (CBA) d. Logan Robinson-Pedro Gomez (SW) 8-1; Walker Davis-Gray Sasser (EW) d. Edwin Tamayo-Anthony Best (SW) 8-0.

Semifinals: Ethan Quin-Le Solomon (EW) d. Andrews-Doyle (CBA) 6-0, 6-2; Matthew Hare-Nick Coston (CBA) d. Davis-Sasser (EW) 6-3, 6-1.

Championship: Quinn-Solomon (EW) d. Hare-Coston (CBA) 6-1, 6-1.
