CALYPSO -- Dustin Carter's second-inning sacrifice bunt started a three-run uprising as North Duplin upended James Kenan, 4-2, in Carolina 1-A Conference play.
Trailing 2-0, Brickhouse reached on an infield error to start the Rebels' rally. Carter moved Brickhouse into scoring position on the sac play. Ricky Cameron reached on an error and Brickhouse raced home to close the gap to 2-1.
Cameron crossed the plate on a passed ball and Caleb Cashwell, who walked, scored on Colby Bass' two-out single. Bass and Chase King each had a hit for the Rebels.
North Duplin added an insurance run in the fifth inning.
Cameron scattered four hits and retired nine JK batters on strikeouts in a complete-game effort. The Tigers scratched out just four hits in the seven-inning affair.
The Rebels improved to 9-7 overall and 6-4 in conference play this season.
