Golden Falcons' Waddell tosses 5-hitter

PIKEVILLE -- Sweet revenge.
Taylor Waddell tossed a five-hitter inside the circle and Charles B. Aycock avenged its lone loss of the season with a 6-1 victory over Beddingfield on Wednesday evening.
Waddell logged six strikeouts.
Allison Shingleton (three RBI) and Waddell provided two hits apiece for the Golden Falcons, who climbed to 18-1 overall this season. Senior shortstop Madison Walton doubled in a 1-for-2 effort.
CBA had eight hits overall.
The Golden Falcons travel to Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference rival D.H. Conley today.
