North Duplin wins PK shootout

SALEMBURG -- Kendy Rangel delivered the game-deciding shot as North Duplin defeated Carolina 1-A Conference foe Lakewood, 1-0, in a penalty-kick shootout on Tuesday evening.
Esmeralda Lopez-Perez and Joanna Flores each scored for the Rebels in the PK phase of the game.
ND goalkeeper Darlene Martinez saved three PK attempts.
