Brock powers North Duplin softball past Lakewood

SALEMBURG -- Courtney Brock doubled and collected four RBI, and Rylee Pate tossed a one-hitter as North Duplin throttled Lakewood, 14-0, in mercy-fashion on the Carolina 1-A Conference scene.
Brock ended the night 2-for-2.
Pate posted 13 strikeouts.
Shaily McCarty plated two runs in a 1-for-1 outing. Alyssa Santos doubled and Natalie Ramirez tripled.
The Rebels (12-1 overall, 7-0 CC) entertain James Kenan on Thursday.
