Conley nets win over Eastern Wayne

Eastern Wayne claimed two singles points during its 7-2 loss to D.H. Conley on the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference scene Monday afternoon.
The Warriors' Le Solomon defeated the Vikings' Conner Christian 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-4) at the No. 2 flight. Ethan Quinn, the No. 3 seed, knocked off Storm Davis 6-1, 6-3.
Conley led 4-2 after singles play.
The Vikings (14-0 overall) clinched a share of the ECC regular-season championship for the second straight year. DHC extended its win streak to 22 against ECC opposition.
Eastern Wayne (9-3, 7-3 ECC) entertains county and ECC foe Southern Wayne today. Warriors head coach Craig Hassell will recognize his seniors before the match.
